Competition – Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star

Courtesy of the wonderful folks at Koei Tecmo, this week we’re giving away not one, not two, but THREE digital codes for Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star – the upcoming PS3 sequel to Ciel nosurge on the PS Vita.

Ar nosurge is a Fantasy, Sci-fi, ‘7 Dimension’ RPG (a gaming genre intorduced by the developer GUST), that takes place in a world where music and song can create magic. It tells the story of a civilisation that lost their planet and has been roaming the edge of space for 2000 years in search of a new home.

The story unfolds through the experiences of interchanging character pairs with very different views about the Sharl – a mysterious lifeform that suddenly appeared and began to abduct the people of Orei. Delta Lanthanoir and Casty Riernoit fight to protect humans from the ravages of the Sharl, but Ionasal.kkll.Preciel (the main character from Ciel Nosurge), and her mysterious humanoid robot partner Earthes fight under the belief that humans and the Sharl can coexist peacefully.

Oh, and Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star is also the prequel to the Ar Tonelico series.

When I'm not engaged in production, journalistic shenanigans or the quagmire that is media criticism I watch movies, interesting TV shows and anime, I also enjoy the arts (you know, classical music and stuff), write many, many things, play and collect a lot of video games, read lots of manga, comics and books, and generally enjoy wallowing in the mass of entertainment media like a hippo in mud. I can also cook.
