Cinema Eclectica 13 – And BOOM Goes the Herzog

Cinema Eclectica 13 – And BOOM Goes the Herzog

On this week’s episode there’s some verbal fisticuffs for trailer of the week, and we discuss Kevin Smith’s Tusk, Himizu, The Killers, Like Water for Chocolate and the irreplaceable Werner Herzog’s Invincible in Off the Shelf.

For our film of the week, we opted for the small indie sci-fi hit The Signal starring Laurence Fishburne and a boatload of wibbly shenanigans (and thereby avoiding  the most racist film of last week).

Small sci-fi has changed so much. Where are all the wobbly sets and Lycra? DISAPPOINTED!

When I'm not engaged in production, journalistic shenanigans or the quagmire that is media criticism I watch movies, interesting TV shows and anime, I also enjoy the arts (you know, classical music and stuff), write many, many things, play and collect a lot of video games, read lots of manga, comics and books, and generally enjoy wallowing in the mass of entertainment media like a hippo in mud. I can also cook.
