A Conversation About Middle-Earth: Shadow of War

We’re back for another chat about video games, and this time out we’re discussing the sequel to Monolith’s sleeper hit Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor.

First though, we’re not going to talk about micro-transactions as other, more cantankerous YouTube channels have covered that subject already (and then some). All we will say is that they don’t break the game. Instead we talk about water-cooler moments, customisation, and returning aspects of the first game that have been improved.

Despite it being the source of a lot of (rightful and exaggerated) controversy, we like Shadow of War a great deal – if only for the obsessed orcs (you’ll see what that means in the video.
