Cinema Eclectica 200 – Tiny Jack Nicholson In My Pocket

Things have been pretty harmonious in Eclecticaville for … blimey … 200 episodes!

Now that we’ve reached such a landmark, we thought it might be nice to risk a ruck for this special edition, and have the team cover each other’s favourite movies, First up, road movie hater Rob takes a look at Aidan’s beloved Hal Ashby vehicle “The Last Detail”, before Aidan returns the favour by checking out Rob’s pick in the form of Sam Fuller’s “Shock Corridor”. In the second half of the show, Producer Rob comes back on to challenge anime dunce Graham to watch Satoshi Kon’s “Millennium Actress”, before subjecting himself to Graham’s East European obsession with Vera Chytilova’s bizarre “Daisies”.

We’ll be back next week with the show as normal – assuming we all survive this one …

Archaeon

Co-founder of The Geek Show Podcast Network. Chief Editor and Executive Producer of thegeekshow.co.uk, and tangentially overburdened host/co-presenter of several shows on the network. When I'm not engaged in production, journalistic shenanigans or the quagmire that is media criticism I watch movies, interesting TV shows and anime, I also enjoy the arts (you know, classical music and stuff), write many, many things, play and collect a lot of video games, read lots of manga, comics and books, and generally enjoy wallowing in the mass of entertainment media like a hippo in mud. I can also cook.
