S16E12 – Roomba On Hoover Violence

The Geek Show returns once again to dip its toes in pop culture, science and technology news, and as usual things take a turn for the weird.

The big story this week is the Sony-Marvel divorce – which basically means no more Spider-Man in the MCU after the current plans are finished. After that we discover a potential fourth Matrix movie, using goats to prevent forest fires, fossils of comically large birds in New Zealand, Youtube actually admitting to a mistake, robotic exo-shorts, autonomous self-riding bicycles, possibly radioactive vodka, and a story that proves that while the British are just as weird as the rest of the world.

Archaeon

Co-founder of The Geek Show Podcast Network. Chief Editor and Executive Producer of thegeekshow.co.uk, and tangentially overburdened host/co-presenter of several shows on the network. When I'm not engaged in production, journalistic shenanigans or the quagmire that is media criticism I watch movies, interesting TV shows and anime, I also enjoy the arts (you know, classical music and stuff), write many, many things, play and collect a lot of video games, read lots of manga, comics and books, and generally enjoy wallowing in the mass of entertainment media like a hippo in mud. I can also cook.
