S14E20 – I’m Forever Milking Kaiju

After returning from our travels we found a heap of weird technology and science news waiting for us.

Kicking things off this week is NATO, who have called a particular global malware attack a declarations of war. After that we allow the strangeness to wash over us with NASA wanting to have a go at Armageddon (without Aerosmith and Bruce Willis), the NHS being outed as the world’s largest purchaser of fax machines (and baseball bats to destroy this rebellious and outdated technology), the Pirates of the Caribbean ride change the auction part of the attraction to something a bit more … modern? Less Horrible? Both?

Then things get really weird with Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop selling the most pretentious ever (and being called out by NASA about what spacesuits are made of), Gene Simmons trying to trademark Spiderman’s hand gestures, 24-carat gold bed sheets in Milan, Kaiju’s advertising washing machines, fashion festivals for crabs, Dead Or Alive Smell-O-Vision and the scent of a sumo wrestler.

We’re not sure how to process most of this stuff either. We just let the jokes run wild and free …
