We’re back for another go on the comic-book carousel, and this week there’s the possibility of Captain Britain appearing in the MCU (maybe), the Hitchcockian influence in The Batman, a live-action Superman: Red Son, the trailer for The Inhumans TV series, and the announcement of the 11th annual Manga Jiman competition for UK artists.

Our featured comics and manga are Hostage (FBCD 2017), Descending Stories: Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju volume 1, The Mighty Thor #20, The Ballad of Franklin Bonisteel (FBCD 2017), Spill Night (FBCD 2017), From the Pages of Hellboy: Rise of the Black Flame, and When Big Bears Invade – which is kind-of a kid’s picture book but since it’s about kaiju-sized bears it’s fair game.
