Alexandre Aja (High Tension, Switchblade Romance & Crawl)

Archaeon

The effort to make the leap fully of Patreon continues, this time it’s the turn of Alexander Aja. We recorded this before our episode(s) on Wes Craven – so this was technically our first-ever pure Horror Episode.

To talk about Aja, Rob is joined by Graham Williamson (of POP SCREEN). Together they talk about Aja’s breakout horror hit, 2003’s High Tension or Haute Tension or Switchblade Romance. What it is called depends on who you ask, we hope they never say the last one as that is a terrible title. Then, we follow that up with 2019’s Creature Feature throwback, Crawl, which has the unenviable honour of starring the stupidest character in film history… Apparently.

Then, Rob is joined by Kat (HOLLYWOOD NEWS) and Andy (ROAD TO KNOWHERE) to talk about some other movies including X, Fresh and The Batman. It’s a jam-packed show this week.
