This week we ask the question, how French can a cannibal movie be? Fortunately we have Rob’s big bag of national stereotypes to help us work this out, and it’s equally fortuitous that Graham has Indicator’s reissue of Arthur Penn’s star-studded crime thriller “The Chase”, while Aidan has Argyris Papadimitropoulos’s slow-burning “Suntan” from Montage Pictures – both of which can stop him talking for a while
A Question of the Week about our favourite scores sees Ryan squeezing his mind-grapes, and the culinary horror continues with Claire Denis’s anthropophagous (look it up) “Trouble Every Day”. You might feel the need for a stiff drink after that – and we’ve got that covered too with our new drinking game.
