Archaeon

An uncharacteristic happiness and contentment falls on the show this week as Aidan, Graham and Rob discuss “Paddington 2”.

Before that though, there are all the regular features – including Off the Shelf where Graham tackles Second Run’s release of Otakar Vávra’s historical nightmare “Witchhammer”, Aidan flees the nudging piano as he reviews Indicator’s reissue of Freddie Francis’s “Torture Garden”, and Rob talks about a book. Yes, a book! Does he know what show he’s on?

After that that it’s time to see if Paul King has continued to look after that bear from darkest Peru.

What would be the Hugh Grant equivalent of the McConnagheissance, anyway? The Grantidote?
