This week we review “Deadpool 2”, and it’s … err … we don’t know actually as that brotherhood of evil comic-book and manga fans called 4-Panel take over the airwaves in a fourth-wall-breaking stunt worthy of the mutated scamp himself.
So does it live up to the original? It’s not a rhetorical question this week as we genuinely have no idea.
After we wrestle back control of the show it’s time for Off the Shelf, which offers more orthodox business (assuming your rabbi is very open-minded). He might be up for some ’70s black comedy in Indicator’s reissue of Alan Arkin’s directorial debut “Little Murders”, but would he jack himself in for a bit of body horror with Black Label’s Blu-Ray release of David Cronenberg’s “eXistenZ”?
Fortunately you don’t need to ask him, or extend this tortured metaphor any further as Aidan and Graham are on the case.
