Subs versus dubs.

It’s the oldest continuing debate in anime, and with a variety of arguments for and against one or the other, it doesn’t look like ending any time soon. But there is one particular aspect of the debate that’s often overlooked – songs – and with that in mind, Andrew, Tucky and Rob decide to investigate whether songs in anime should be redubbed into English.

After a rousing discussion it’s back to our usual business of what we’ve been watching, which this week are part 1 of the stunning adaptation of Kore Yamazaki’s (Frau Faust), hit supernatural folklore story The Ancient Magus’ Bride, and the anime version of Kozue Amano’s (Aqua, Aria), scuba diving slice-of-life manga Amanchu!
