45 years after their original team-up, Batman once again joins forces with Scooby Doo and the rest of the Mystery Gang. Meanwhile, Sony complete their purchase of Funimation (a lot faster than we expected), and Anime Ltd. move into music distribution.

Our featured anime movies are Satoshi Kon’s psychological thriller Perfect Blue and Makoto Shinkai’s supernatural drama Your Name.
