We’re back for another edition of the scratch and sniff podcast of science and technology news that is The Geek Show!

Kicking things off this week, we have an update on the seemingly ongoing saga about Britain’s National Health Service and fax machines. After that we bid a fond farewell to NASA’s Opportunity Rover – which has finally deactivated and thus ended its mission on Mars after 14 years – before we take a look at the continued attempts to clean up the junk in the Earth’s orbit. In other news, OpenAI reveal a text generator that they deem “too dangerous” for release, YouTube is being blamed for the rise in the number of people who believe the world is flat, Project Deep Squeak could give us some insight into the thoughts of rodents, there’s an app for dating among cows and bulls, and yet another Japanese company has embarked on some weird escapades.

It’s a strange world.
