The mold that just won’t shift of science and technology podcasts returns for another episode, so welcome to the latest edition of The Geek Show!
Kicking things off this week is Google’s announcement of their new video games streaming platform called Stadia – which may or may not be a game-changer (pardon the pun). In other news, a Spanish poll suggests that people would rather vote for an artificial intelligence rather than a human politician, a Japanese tech start-up claims they’ve created a “Minority Report”-style A.I. (for real), it’s apparently very easy to fool artificial intelligence, new research suggests that the human brain is able to respond to the earth’s magnetic field, Netflix plan more chose your own adventure content, a university professor in China gave his students a controversial social media test, a religion founded by a taxi driver in the 1950s claims to have prevented several global calamities, and finally, a Japanese company created a device to … well … just listen and you’ll find out.
So until next time … the truth is out there (but you’ll probably be shocked and appalled when you find out what it is).
