We’ve been away for a little while because of E3 (check out our coverage on our YouTube channel, and don’t forget to subscribe while you are there), but we won’t dwell on that because things other than video games have been happening in the world.
So, kicking things off this week is the reaction of Marvel fans to the company’s mysterious Twitter countdown and subsequent reveal, before we move on to a gang used the identity of a French minister to steal $90 million in a Mission Impossible-style scam. In other news, Facebook are launching a digital currency, Huawei apparently have their own operating system already in development, a Japanese technology company have created a virtual male “influencer”, a Norwegian city wants to do away with time, a new start-up wants pogo sticks to be the new mode of transport, a Brazilian pet shop chain has created facial recognition for dogs, Dutch police have are offering samples of a special perfume to the public in an effort to fight crime, and a Japanese clothing company has developed a t-shirt with inflatable muscles to be worn under other clothes.
