The Man With All The Southern Drawls – Cinema Eclectica 233

Archaeon

It may be one of precisely three films ever to top Sight & Sound’s poll of the greatest movies of all time, but what you’ve all really been waiting for is for Vittorio de Sica’s “Bicycle Thieves” to be subjected to the patented dumbass Eclectica treatment. Okay, it#s not much of a joke, but with a peerless line-up of new releases that has Sarah running her magnifying glass over Rian Johnston’s “Knives Out”, Aidan non-digitally aging as he tackles the epic running time of Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman”, and Graham passing judgment on Jennifer Kent’s follow-up to “The Babadook” – the brutal and chilling “The Nightingale”.
