We’re no longer waiting for Gadot as Patty Jenkins’ long-awaited “Wonder Woman” is our Film of the Week. Can she save the world, and more importantly, the DC Cinematic Universe?

We also have a question of the week about opening titles and a chat about Film 4’s new budget statement that’s much more interesting than you might think (admittedly it couldn’t possibly be duller than it sounds – but it’s seriously good regardless). In between those it’s another B-sides show with a genre-mangling haul of films that have been released this year including the clay-animated social realism of “My Life as a Courgette”, the retro-cop spoofery of “Mindhorn”, the minimalist political horror that is “Personal Shopper”, and whatever the hell “Prevenge” is.

Seriously, we have arguments about this and everything.
