Parasite – Cinema Eclectica Podcast 243

Archaeon

It’s the most historic movie event of the year – that’s right, we’ve got Mark back on the podcast. He and Graham talk about the small matter of, oh I don’t know, the first foreign-language film to win Best Picture at the Oscars. Ever. It’s Bong Joon-Ho’s Parasite and our bodies could not be more ready.

Elsewhere, Eureka video bring the druggy body horror with Bliss, and there’s a double-bill of new releases with the very strange voyage of Robert Downey Jr’s Dolittle and Birds of Prey, the Suicide Squad spin-off that makes you stop dreading the phrase “Suicide Squad spin-off”. There’s also a bit of Oscars chat which is not entirely a Laura Dern appreciation fest. Just mostly.
