This week we reveal the classic films that we haven’t seen, and look forward to the future classics that you’ll be too busy to catch at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. After that it’s two very different dishes in a gourmet Off The Shelf, with Frank Henenlotter’s “Brain Damage” (which is best watched on an empty stomach), and Juzo Itami’s “Tampopo” (you’ll never look at eggs the same way again). Seeing us out is classic film-noir from the inventor of the genre – John Huston’s “The Asphalt Jungle”.
