Okay, so in actuality we forgot our birthday (blame it on old age), but we do have some interesting things to talk about this week. We start with the 45th Annie Award nominations for Best Animated Feature and Best Animated Feature – Independent, and more importantly why they annoy us.
After that it’s down to serious business with the epic-sounding Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle (Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut), Satoshi Kon’s captivatingly surreal animated feature film Paprika and the comedy series with the greatest background character in anime – Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto (Sakamoto Desu ga?).
