Killer Thriller Week on the Horror Channel this March!

Vincent Gaine

Back in the day, reviews described thriller films as CHILLER DILLER. Such comments will be fitting for Horror Channel’s KILLER THRILLER WEEK in March. This white-knuckle week includes the UK premiere of Mena Suvari-starring mystery thriller PARADISE COVE as well as the channel premiere of road thriller COP CAR, as Kevin Bacon takes some time off EE adverts. The seven days of suspense also include Gus Van Sant’s revival of the Hitchcock classic PSYCHO (1998), 2014’s erotic thriller THE LOFT starring Karl Urban, the deliriously twisted WHAT KEEPS YOU ALIVE by Colin Minihan, Rod Lurie’s 2011 remake of STRAW DOGS and 2018’s BAD SAMARITAN, where a cunning David Tennant gets murderous.

As if that wasn’t enough, March also delivers four additional UK TV premieres. The highlight is surely the late Johnny Kevorkian’s final film, AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS, a throat-grabbing nightmare of suspense, intensity and Cronenbergian mind-bending body horror, starring Sam Gittins, David Bradley, Grant Masters and Holly Weston. There is also the slasher thriller WIRED SHUT, Tate Steinsiek’s reboot of Stuart Gordon’s 1995 classic CASTLE FREAK, and Jesse Thomas Cook’s dark zombie thriller DEADSIGHT.

Horror Channel continues to spoil horror fans with channel premieres for the urban crime story, A GOOD WOMAN IS HARD TO FIND, where Abner Pastoll directs a barnstorming performance by Sarah Bolger; Elijah Wood in murderous high-school horror-comedy COOTIES, and the German survival horror thriller PREY.
