SPOILERS AHEAD I can’t remember a Doctor Who episode like Wild Blue Yonder in my time as a fan. Perhaps the closest thing I can think of is the monumental Peter Capaldi showcase Heaven Sent, which similarly had a barebones cast in a mysterious location with something deeply sinister lurking […]
Doctor Who
Doctor Who: The Star Beast (2023) A non-stop blast of comforting fun (Review)
Doctor Who is now officially 60 years old as of last Thursday, and after thirteen long months of no episodes and a steady news cycle, we have finally seen the first of three special episodes to celebrate this anniversary. As has been the point of much discussion in recent years, […]
Doctor Who Spin-Off, Class (2016), Deserves More Love, and Here’s Why
SPOILERS AHEAD The extended universe of Doctor Who has not been present on-screen since way back in 2011. In the initial burst of popularity the revival received in the 2000s, showrunner Russell T. Davies capitalised on this success by offering up two spin-off shows: the kid-friendly Sarah Jane Adventures, featuring […]
Doctor Who – The Power Of The Doctor (2022)(TV Review)
I have discussed Doctor Who plenty of times, doing pieces on each of Jodie Whittaker’s series, but the first specific episode review of Doctor Who I did was way back in January 2018, when I covered the recent Twice Upon A Time, the final episode for both Peter Capaldi as […]

Doctor Who Flux – The Village of the Angels (Episode 4)(Review)
“The Village of the Angels”. Fan favourites the Weeping Angels return with a bang in this week’s episode and despite some inconsistencies, it’s an episode peppered with nostalgic scares and menace. CONTAINS SPOILERS This series is like a greatest hit’s tour of Doctor Who villains, a bumpy ghost train, with […]
Doctor Who Flux – Once Upon Time (Episode 3)(Review)
“Once Upon Time”. We’re a long way down the time vortex, and there is no place like home. Doctor Who goes into overdrive in a badly structured meander into madness. CONTAINS SPOILERS To start with, an apology for wrongly titling this week’s episode in last week’s review. Perhaps too entrenched […]
