Animex is arguably one of the most unique opportunities that students will have during their time at the University of Teesside (or any university for that matter), and while related festivals and copycats are appearing the world over, the original is still the best. Here at The Geek Show we often marvel at the guests and speakers that attend from all over the world – a testament to the hard work and effort put in by Gabby Kent, Satish Shewhorak, Chris Wyatt, and everyone else who help to make the event great (including all you red-shirted security guards).
