Wes Craven – Part 1 (Last House on the Left & Cursed)

Archaeon

This week on Director Uncut we have our first ever two-parter, the lucky filmmaker? Wes Craven!

In this first part, Rob is joined by Cliff (Devil Times Five) and Kat (The Hollywood News), where we talk about 1972’s controversial classic, The Last House on the Left and 2005’s Cursed. An apt description, as well as a title, for Craven’s battle-scarred werewolf movie. An episode of extremes but not for the reason you’d expect.

Then, we talk about films as diverse as Hellbender, You are Not My Mother and No Exit. Okay, so it’s not a super diverse episode – in fact, it’s a horror week on the pod. It happens, it’s cool, the show will be going in a very different direction in the next episode – the filling in this saucy Craven sandwich.
